singing yap time

used to be in HTHS choir aka the worst experience of my life
they made us sing this "original song" with horrendous lyrics and because half our choir was... less than musically inclined... the harmony sounded like a group of dying rats
when they played the original song in the music room the random people loitering there started laughing! so that was a great experience!!
we did NOT have sections in that choir and half the choir did not know how to count in 4/4. like im no musical prodigy but like what the heck 0/10 choir!
currently in EOM choir which is pretty mid nothing to write home about 6/10
would rank higher if i had friends in this damned choir (help) (guys pls be my friend...)
im a soprano! c3 to e6 + i recently learned how to whistle note woo

clarinet yap time

it's a sad life :C i was only in band for one freaking year!! yeah! only 1 year of clarinet!! EOM band has morning practices that coincide w studco meetings AND EOM music is super strict so i cant even join EOM band if i wanted to but tbh i can probably afford to rent a clarinet now and maybe join public band cus i finally got PAID (thank the lorddddd for art comps)
did have a decent amount of achievements in my singular year of band tho!! taught some random people how to play clarinet and the mcdonalds riff at an open house for HT band :D next stop is teaching people to play the weezer riff
i also taught this kid how to play f sharp like 75 times
i also taught a bunch of ppl in my music class how to play clarinet cus our music teacher didnt really want to LMAO fun times!

piano yap time

i could probably be considered the world's least qualified piano player LMAOO i basically played from ages 6 to 10 and then quit when covid hit :C
im still kinda sad about quitting piano but rn i GENUINELY do not have the time to pick it back up + RCM exams are WAY too stressful i am not returning to that life
i sometimes play simple pieces while im songwriting or as an instrumental while im singing (especially laufey piano instrumentals cus theyre not usually that complex like i recently learned california and me)
other than those simple pieces i dont play much piano anymore RIP and i forgot all the skills i learnt when i was like 10 too #guesswhocantreadbassclef #wellicanreaditbutnotcompetently #guesswhosucksatmusictheory
